Be Big by Dave Buonaguid / BASED ON ORIGINAL ARTWORK During a hiatus from 30 years advertising world, Dave Buonaguidi set upon learning a new skill. He opted for a screen printing course which gave him a creative outlet for many of the ideas that had been swimming around in his head. He works with found images and materials, pushing the boundaries of screen printing in new ways. He’s printed with pheromones, sprinkles, copper and just about anything else he can find. Dave uses the techniques of advertising, pairing found objects with bold slogans to challenge the viewer.
